When I work with a life model, I don’t think of anything else than to “get the movement”, which means proportions and coherence of the body language.
Adding watercolor is a whole different process. While painting I’m “listening” for possible interpretations, stories and ideas. The body language of this figure drawing lead me to elaborate how we ponder about how to keep our lifes in order and together, while orderly patterns slip and move a way from us, requiring constant adaption.
