You're right Nick. It's the view from Raemaru, painted from the summit, looking inland. I can tell you've been there too. It was one of my favorite spots on Rarotonga.

This is not Raemaru...it is Te Kou and in the background is Te Manga and Te Atukura...

Artist's Description

This is the view from Mount Raemaru (1150 feet or 350m) to the inland ridges and peaks of the high volcanic island of Rarotonga. Rugged rock is overgrown with lush tropical vegetation, habitat to many rare species of plants and a few species of unique birds.
Rarotonga is the main island of the Cook Islands, a South Pacific island nation of 15 islands, between Fiji and Tahiti.
