Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. It’s rare that Mount Diablo gets a snow cap, but when it does, its topography is revealed in precious detail, all tousled up by wind-swept clouds. Not that all of it needs, or could be, recorded, but there is much to choose from for a feast of forms and color.
About Judith Kunzle
Judith Kunzle is drawing dancers in action, paints mountains en plein air, and many other subjects she encounters. Judith lived for 30 years in the South Pacific, mostly in the Cook Islands, two years on Hawaii and six years in California. In 2021 she returned to Switzerland.
