A typical scene of a dance practice on Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands. I sketched so many times at such rehearsals, I still feel the drum beats, the laughter, the women in baggy T-shirts (exchanged in this drawing with coconut bras, worn at performance, to show the movements) discussing the drum beats with the drummers: da-dadada-da-DA�!
